A nice remake of "Deities & Demigods"

First, there is one negative point to cover: the digest version print is too small to be easily read. We don't have this format here in europe, so I was not aware, that it is a miniature version of the hardcover. If you have problems reading small print, better stay with the regular book.
Second, the book itself is pretty good. It is basically a better remake of the old "Deities & Demigods" from 1st Edition AD&D (with much better illustrations :)). It covers many classical and some fantasy pantheons and describes briefly their main deities. Under the entry you find the symbols, provinces, the powers granted to all followers and other stuff (like taboos or ceremonies). Then there is a description of the god and his nature, followed by his artefacts and avatar stats.
Some pantheons list also a number of spells available to their followers, such as the elven or aztec pantheon, which are indexed by class and level at the end of the book. In a few cases there are also monster stats, like in the greek entry greek titans, Cerberus and the hecatoncheires.
It is in my opinion a helpful book for any DM of 1st/2nd Edition, OSRIC or C&C games, who wants to browse for ideas and material.
