Very interesting and informative

The book is a time capsule collection of information that contains facts about the early history of Lycomming county. I got the feeling that Meginness was given a commission by local government to collect the information and record it in one place where it could be kept secure and available for future generations. The book gets very detailed about many things and is easy to read.

Great info but small print. Wish it was 2 or 3 volumes with larger type. It is slow going but really worth the effort!
