About the Author
Thomas Fingar is Shorenstein Distinguished Fellow in the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford University. Previously, Fingar served concurrently as the first Deputy Director for National Intelligence and the Chairman of the National Intelligence Council. He is the author of Reducing Uncertainty: Intelligence Analysis and National Security (2011).

Leading work on a rapidly changing Asia--that includes South Asia

Superb edition by Dr Fingar and his co-contributors. It provides a valuable framework, perspectives from several vantage points, and some historical context to better understand how these two important regions are evolving and spurs thinking about what lies ahead. Well done. I have not seen another work the bridges the expertise of two regions in a remotely comparable way.
